This is the last level of editing, done after more in-depth editing, proofreading, and formatting.  The Zero Hour is a final review that is great for that last look by a fresh set of eyes.  It is also a great way to check for formatting area before your book is released.

what do I look for?

  • Optical Character Recognition (OCR) issues:  Conversion can cause wonky issues with text, including replacing letters with numbers, word changes, and dropped punctuation
  • Missing/incorrect words
  • Punctuation errors
  • Formatting issues
  • Spelling
